Victoria Beckham walks out In style

She’s hard at work preparing her eagerly anticipated pre-spring/summer collection, but Victoria Beckham took time away from the drawing board on Tuesday when she stepped out in New York City.

The 40-year-old fashion designer caught the eye in a bold red midi-length dress as she made her way out of Manhattan’s Bowery Hotel and sashayed towards a waiting car.

With its sleeveless design and form-fitting upper half it afforded Victoria the opportunity to show off her slender frame, while the chunky waist chain hanging from her left hip provided a striking focal point. Victoria completed the look with a pair of snappy red heels, while obligatory sunglasses rounded things off.

The former Spice Girl was stepping out that day after her husband’s new documentary, David Beckham: Into the Unknown aired on the BBC to rave reviews.

David was in London with Prince William on Monday, as the two joined forces to launch a United For Wildlife Campaign.

The Duke of Cambridge, who is the president of United for Wildlife, launched #WhoseSideAreYouOn, a new campaign which harnesses the power of sport to raise awareness of conservation issues around the world.

William was joined by Beckham, who heads a team of high-profile sporting stars backing this campaign to engage young people’s support on social networks to combat the illegal trade in wildlife products.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder is also planning on developing a football stadium overlooking the ocean next to the Miami Heat NBA basketball arena.

As the star has been met with opposition for the project, he will need all his undoubted charm ahead of a referendum in November to persuade the electorate that his project will be totally privately funded and that all he wants from the state is the same tax relief conditions given to other Florida sports franchises plus a fair market price for the land.

Miami voters will be ultra-sceptical after the enormous cost to taxpayers of the Marlins Park baseball stadium.

Even the much-needed refurbishments to the Miami Dolphins Sun Life Stadium have been delayed over the cost to the public purse.
